STRENGTHENING FAMILIES STRENGTHENING COMMUNITIES:

Free Parenting & Personal Development Course

S.T.L.P.I. offers Strengthening Families Strengthening Communities Parenting and Development training in both Clonmel and Carrick-on-Suir (subject to funding)

This programme is designed to address some of the issues that challenge developing societies, such as gang violence and decreasing community engagement. The programme tackles critical issues which some traditional parenting programmes have failed to recognise such as cultural and family diversity and the importance of community involvement.

Testimonials of participants who completed

Strengthening Families Strengthening Communities

  • I learned so much dealing with my child. A very good course, glad I was there.

  • I thought I was flogging a dead horse with my 4 year old daughter's behaviour, but over the last few weeks the change in her is unbelievable, not only has the course benefitted me, but it has changed our family in the best possible way. I would recommend this course for everyone.

  • What I got out of this course most was how to talk to my children. How to listen to them. Give them a chance to talk about how they are feeling. Not to judge them, and praise them for good behaviour.

  • This parenting class has helped me to become a good and responsible mum. I now know how to take care of my baby.

  • I can't wait to become a mum. I have learned so much about how to become a good mother, and to play a good role as a mum. I will be the best mum I can be. This course has made me so motivated.
